Xiaomi on Friday unveiled an updated variant of the 2000mAh Mi Power Bank

The Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi unveiled its 2000mAh Mi Power Bank last year, which came to India earlier this year. Now Xiaomi on Friday unveiled an updated variant of the 2000mAh Mi Power Bank. The device is priced at CNY 149 (Rs. 1,451 approximately) and is available in White colour variant. This product seems like Xiaomi’s last product this year, and it will go on sale on December 19.

The new 2000mAh Mi Power Bank akin to the previous variant in terms of design and feel, sticking to the same ABS plastic body rather than an aluminium body that the other Xiaomi power bank have been spotted. There on, however, some changes to the dimensions of the new model. The dimensions of the new model are measured at 13.5×67.6x 23.9mm which makes it more compact although the device is slightly thicker than its antecedent.

Under the hood, the new 2000mAh power bank has slightly high-density lithium-polymer batteries along with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support and two-way fast charging. The power bank comes with two USB port with 5.1V/3.6A rating for two connected devices and has the support of 5V/2.4A-9V/2A-12V/1.5A. The new power bank is capable of charging most smartphones, tablets, and even charge latest Apple MacBook.

There is no word as to when the company plans to unveil the new updates 2000mAh Mi Power Bank globally. The 1000mAh Power Bank Pro with USB Type-C was launched in India this year with a price tag of Rs. 1,999. The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro is rated to deliver up to 12V 1.5A, 9V 2A, or 5V 2A as well as can charge other smartphone accessories such as Bluetooth headphones, fitness bands and many others as well.  The device can output power from the Type-A connector and can be charged from the Type-C connector.
