Swipe Technologies unveiled a new smartphone, Swipe Elite Star

Swipe Technologies unveiled a new smartphone, Swipe Elite Star, which supports 4G VoLTE. The smartphone supports dual-SIM and is priced at Rs. 3,333. It will be exclusively available for grabs via Flipkart.

Coming to the specifications of Swipe Elite Star, the device comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display panel. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone offers an internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

As for the optics of Swipe Elite Star, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel primary camera at the back along with LED flash. It also comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera at the front for selfies. The handset is powered by a 2000mAh battery which supports rapid-charge functionality.

Apart from 4G VoLTE, the connectivity in the Swipe Elite Star includes, GPS, 3.5MM audio jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 125.5×64.6×10.6mm, and it is offered in White and Black colour variants.

The Elite Star also houses features as such as Indus Swipe, Word and Matra predictions, Indus Messaging, Indus Reader, and a Hybrid Keyboard.

Swipe Technologies is a California-based company that provides Android devices in the Indian market. It claimed to have sold 100,000 devices by 2013. Swipe announced that it had locked a funding of over $4.9 million from Kallari Capital in 2014. Swipe’s latest smartphone is the Elite Star. It also claimed that it sold 100,000 devices in 2013. At the beginning of this year, Swipe announced its partnership with Indus OS with Celkon to bring the domestically-made operating system to more handset in the country. The tie-up is in addition to the one Indus OS already benefits with Micromax.
