Just a couple of days before, two handsets of Sony were listed on GFXBenchSite with model numbers F3216 and F3311. Then F3216 was discovered to be Sony Xperia XA Ultra and on the other hand, the F3311 model is still unknown. But now the new leak from Russia has created the buzz about the mysterious phone and claims that it is none other than the successor of Sony Xperia E4 i.e. Sony Xperia E5. The Sony E range phones are usually a budget-friendly phone.
The Sony Xperia E5 phone was accidently leaked on the social networking site; Facebook, which was a bolt from the blue. And after a few hours, the company deleted its post indicating that the details were revealed before the time.
Commenting on the rumored specifications, the Sony Xperia E5 will be a pocket-friendly phone and is expected to feature a 4.6-inch display screen with 720p resolution. As per reports, the handset is equipped with MediaTek’s MT6735 chipset and is packed with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Regarding the expandable memory, nothing can be said.
To recall the specs of E5 predecessor phone, Sony Xperia E4, which was launched in February 2015 features 5.00-inch display screen aided with 960 pixels by 540 pixels at aPPI of 220 pixels per density. The handset features 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel front shooter and operated Android Kitkat version. The memory of device can be expanded via a micro-SD card till 32GB and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. And, finally, the single-SIM phone with 2300mAh non-removable battery completes the package of the handset.
Recently, in India, the company has commenced the pre-registrations for Sony Xperia X and XA smartphones and is expected to hit shelves on 30th May. The company has also offered the interested consumers to sign up on the company’s India website to know the details like offers and price of the upcoming phone. Mainly talking about its price, nothing is being officially claimed by the firm and it is expected to declare very soon.
