Panasonic launches smartphone T44 Lite at Rs 3199

Pansonic has launched two new affordable smartphones, the T30 and T44, on Friday in India. Panasonic states that both the smartphones are aimed at Tier II and TierIII markets in the nation. Panasonic launches smartphone T44 Lite at Rs 3199.

The Panasonic T30 comes with a price tag of Rs. 3,290 whereas the Panasonic T44 is priced at Rs. 3,199. Color variants in Panasonic T44 are Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, and Electric Blue. On the other hand, Panasonic T30 comes with color variants of Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, and Steel Grey. The company is also offering a screen guard worth Rs. 299 along with the new phones.

Both phones have same internal features. They have a 4-inch WVGA display with the resolution of 480*800 pixels. They are backed by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Both Sports 5-megapixel rear cameras along with a LED flash and a 2-mega pixel front snappers.

Panasonic T30 and T44 are dual-SIM supported by Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and GPS for connectivity.

Coming to the differences of both the phones, T3is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop and has a 512MB of RAM. It has a storage capacity of 4GB which could further expandable up to 32GB via Mico-SD card. The device is supported by a battery of 1400mAh and its dimensions measure at 126*64*10.3mm.

The T44 is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Panasonic Sail UI and has a 1GB of RAM. The Storage capacity of the device is 8GB with an expandable option via MicroSD card up to 32GB. It is supported by a 2400mAh battery. Its dimensions measure at 127.3*66.9.65mm.

At the launch event, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic, India, Pankaj Rana commented that with the introduction of these two new smartphones company has aimed at the consumers in tier II and tier III of the country. Being a value driven country, the consumer seeks for productivity, entertainment, multitasking, better connectivity and better efficiency.
