Micromax Launched a Canvas XP 4G at Rs. 7,499

Micromax, a homegrown company, has launched and added a new smartphone to its portfolio. The company has launched the Canvas XP 4G in India at a budgeted price. The Rs. 7,499 smartphone can be accessible by the customers from the Snapdeal, an online store, from Tuesday onwards. The unique feature of the handset is that the 4G LTE connectivity and 3GB RAM is available at such a rock-bottom price.

Talking about its specs, the Canvas XP runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop version and is powered by quad-core chipset clocked with a 1.GHz processor. The device is equipped with 3GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. Moreover, the memory can also be extended via a micro-SD card. As far as its display is concerned, the handset sports 5-inch HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels.

Talking about the camera features, the Canvas XP is equipped with an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear side along with flash and autofocus feature. The secondary camera sports 2-megapixel on the front side for selfies.

Apart from the 4G LTE connectivity provided by the smartphone, the regular connectivity options are also offered by the device. The Canvas XP 4G is packed up with the 2000mAh battery for a battery life, but nothing has been mentioned about its talk time and standby time.

On the launch of Canvas XP 4G, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer of Micromax said that the company’s success has extended the smartphone market on the whole and has created a significant impact in the e-commerce outlets. He also added that the company has exclusively captured the online market over 11 percent. Sen further on paid the attribute to the Snapdeal partnership for its significant and huge success. And the CMO also believes that the launch of Canvas XP is a very powerful device for the up gradation to the newly 4G phenomena.

Recently, the company has unveiled its Micromax Lapbook just at Rs.10,499, especially for the first-time laptop users, who can’t afford an expensive laptop The laptop was mainly targeted to the youth and the students of the country which is a superb initiative made by the company.
