Meizu M3X and Meizu Pro Plus smartphone have been launched

Meizu M3X and Meizu Pro Plus smartphone have been launched in China. While the Meizu M3X comes with a price tag of  CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 16,900), the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 29,9000). The Meizu M3X will go on sales from 8th December on the other had Meizu Pro 6 will be up for grabs from December 23rd  onward.

Both the smartphone comes in two RAM and storage variants. The Meizu M3X with 3GB RAM and internal storage of 32GB is priced at CNY 1,699, whereas the 4GB RAM and onboard storage of 64GB model are priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 19,000).

Meizu  Pro 6 Plus with a 64GB variant with 2GHz Exynos 8890 SoC is priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 29,900), while the 2.3GHz Exynos 8890 SoC model is priced at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 32,800).

Beginning with the Meizu M3X, the handset comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1080X1920 PIXELS) LCD display. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit 2.3GHz MediaTek P20 octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali T880 GPU. It runs on Flyme OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with dual-SIM support.

Coming to the optics of Meizu M3X it bears a 12-megapixel primary along with dual-tome LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording support. It also has a 5-megapixel front snapper along with f/2.0 aperture for video calls and selfies. There is also a fingerprint sensor housed inside the Home Button. The Meizu M3X is powered by a 3200mAh battery which comes with fast charging support which the company claims that it can charge up to 40 percent in 30 minutes.

For connectivity, the smartphone has options including 4G VoLT, Bluetooth v4.1, USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The dimensions of M3X is measured at 153.8×76.7.4mm, and it weighs at 165 grams. The device will be available in Phantom Blue, Gold, Pearl White, and Obsidian Black colour variants.

Now let’s talk about the Meizu Pro Plus, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED display along with 3D Press and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The Exynos 8890 SoC of the Meizu Pro 6 Plus is coupled with a Mali T880 MP10 GPU and a RAM of 4GB. The device runs on Flyme OS 6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with dual-SIM support.

Optics of both the smartphones are similar except form that the back camera in Pro Plus 6 supports dual tone 10-LED Ring Flash, 4-axis optical image stabilisation, and laser autofocus. Apart from fingerprint sensor the device also houses heart rate and the infrared sensor. It is powered by a 3400mAh battery along with 3.0 24W fast charging support.

For connectivity, the Pro Plus has options including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11, NFC support, GPS, and USB 3.1 Type-C. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 155.6×77.3×7.3mm, and it weighs 158 grams.
