Samsung, a South-Korean giant, has recently unleashed the two new versions of smartphones in its new budgeted series i.e. Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in China. The company introduced it last month where it mentioned about all the specs of the two models except the price. And, it has been alleged that the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 will cost around $255 (INR 15,300) and $320 (INR 19,200), respectively.
Now, Samsung has officially declared the price tag of the Galaxy J5 (2016) and the Galaxy J7 (2016) editions in South Korea. Both the handsets are now available to buy in their home country via KT Corporation. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) will cost at KRW 290,000 (approximately Rs. 17,000), and the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is available at a price tag of KRW 363,000 (approximately Rs. 21,000).
In India, the new J-series smartphones, which are the descendants of the Samsung Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 were released in July last year at a price tag of Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively.
Talking about the features of both the smartphones, they sport a metal frame rendering an impressive look to the device.
Samsung Galaxy J5
A dual-SIM supports a 3G/4G connection in India, and it sports 5.20-inch HD screen display with 720×1280 pixels. The device is equipped with a 3100mAh battery and is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Further on, the memory of the smartphone is expandable and can be expanded up to 128 GB via a micro-SD card. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f1.9 aperture along with the flashlight, and front camera will feature 5-megapixel, which will also come with f1.9 aperture. The touchscreen phone will be powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and will run on Android Marshmallow operating system. Samsung Galaxy J7
A 5.50-inch screen display with 1080×1920 pixels. The device is backed up by a 3100mAh battery and is equipped with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The memory can also be extended via a micro-SD card till 128GB. The handsets sports 13-megapixel camera rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It runs on Android’s latest version i.e. Marshmallow version and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor.
