Asus is all set to launch Zenfone 3 Max in India
Asus is all set to launch Zenfone 3 Max in India today. The handset is a new addition to the Asus’s Zenfone 3 series, which includes smartphones such as Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, and Zenfone 3. The Zenfone 3 Max will be available in two variant (display wise) – 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch. It will sport a metal unibody along with 2.5D curved glass. The main highlight of the smartphone is probably its 4,100mAh battery that the company claims prove 38 days of standby and 17 hours of talktime. The smartphone will support reverse charging and will also double up as a power bank to charge other devices.
Asus Zenfone 2 Max features an HD display and supports 4G VoLTE. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 coupled with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB internal storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Coming to the optics, the smartphone bears a 16-megapixel primary camera along with laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF. It also has an 8-megapixel front snapper that comes with Beautification modes. Both the camera are enabled to shoot video in full HD resolution. Asus Zenfone 3 Max houses a fingerprint scanner in the back panel. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1.
The smartphone runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow along with ZenUI 3.0 OS on top. It supports dual SIM and has a hybrid SIM slot. The device support micro and nano SIM cards. The smartphone will be available in glacier silver, gold, and titanium grey colour variant.
With battery capacity becoming a major point in current time, the smartphone manufacturers are now aiming at packing their devices with the huge battery. Earlier Asus launched Zenfone Max with a massive 5,000mAh battery at Rs. 9,999. Plus, Xiaomi came up with Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3both with huge 4100mAh battery priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively.
