The protest is rising against the Ad blocking. Ad-blockers have hit the revenue of these websites majorly depend on advertisements as a primary source of income.  Times Of India has already enabled this facility and the other news sites like The Indian Express, The Hindu, Dainik Bhaskar and more will follow this suit very soon said a report. The Ad blocker users who visit their website will be given a notice for the Adblock.  The users will have to disable the Adblock facility or else they won’t be able to explore the content on that particular website.

This decision will impact multiple numbers of readers in India as they won’t be able to explore the sites if they keep using Adblocker. India is known as the second highest country using Ad Block after China. Even big websites like Forbes and Men’s GQ magazines is starting to block all the contents available on their sites for the AdBlock users who keep the adblocking facility.

The sites were majorly getting affected because of Adblocking as the advertisements are a source of income for them. Now the websites are open to the non-AdBlock users only.
