Xiaomi Mi Note 2 details leaked

There have been so many different speculations about Mi Note 2. Some said that phone would feature dual edge display and dual camera setup, while other claimed only one of them would feature in the smartphone. Anyhow, Xiaomi has programmed an event on October 25 for the official launch of Mi Note 2. But before the event, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 details leaked on Weibo, revealing its specifications and pricing details.

The leak suggests that the Xiaiomi Mi Note 2 will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display along with the Force Touch technology. The Force Touch was first introduced in Apple’s iPhone 6s; it is a pressure sensitive display technology that the company employs to provide additional interface option. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 530GPU. The device is expected to come in two variants- 4GB RAM/64GB RAM storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

The leak further claims that the dual camera is, in fact, going to be introduced and the phone will feature two sensors at the back. The first will be a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor, and the other will be a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor. Mi Note 2 will sport a dual-tone LED Flash, OIS support, and 4K video recording. The front camera will have an 8-megapixel sensor.

The smartphone is said to pack a huge 4100mAh battery supported by Quick Charge fast charging technology. The device will support Mi-Pay, which means it will be NFC-enabled. Also, you will find an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the bottom of the display. The connectivity option in Xiaomi Mi Note 2 includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, MU-MIMO, USB Type-C port, and GPS. The smartphone supports dual-SIM slots and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Coming to the price of the products the 4GB variant is priced at CNY 2,799 (Rs. 27,800) and the 6GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of CNY 2,999 (Rs. 29,800). With so many conflicting rumors, it is best to take all leaks with a grain of salt.
