Vivo launched three smartphones X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 on Wednesday

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo on Wednesday launched three smartphones. Vivo launched three smartphones X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 in its home. The Vivo X9 comes with a price tag CNY 2,798 (around Rs 28,000) for the 64GB variant, and the 128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,9888 (around Rs.30,000). Both these variants are available to buy. However, the company has not revealed the price of XP plus as of now. While the Vivo Xplay 6 is priced at CNY 4,498 (around Rs. 44,500) and is available to pre-order in China. All the three smartphones are available in Rose Gold and Gold colour variants.

The main highlight of the X9 and X9 Plus handsets is that they come with dual-front facing cameras. They sport a 20-megapixel camera along with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture at the front of an 8-megapixel camera alongside. Both the device pack 16-megapixel rear camera along with PDAF.

Coming to the specifications, the Vivo X9 sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED (1080×1920) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM89533) clocked at 2GHz paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is being offered in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. It also houses a fingerprint sensor placed in the Home Button. For connectivity, it has 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi-, Micro-USB, and GPS/A-GPS. The device packs a 3050mAh battery which supports fast charging. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 152.6x74x6.9mm and weigh 154 grams.

The X9 Plus is a larger device which features a 5.88-inch HD IPS (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (MSM8976) clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 6GB of RAM. It is available in 128GB storage variant.

The smartphone supports dual-SIM and runs on FuntouchOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with a fingerprint sensor housed on the Home Button. It packs a massive 4000mAh battery and supports fast charging. The dimension of X9 Plus are measured at 162x79x7.4mm and weighs 199 grams.

Lastly the Vivo Xplay6 sports a dual curved display and comes with a 5.46-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED (1440×2560) display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. It is available in 128GB storage variant. The device supports dual-SIM runs on FuntouchOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has the dual primary camera that features a 12-megapixel camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, dual-toned LED flash, and PDAF. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the Home Button. It measures at 153.8×73.5×8.4mm and weighs 178 grams. It has VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3G, and Bluetooth.
