Samsung Gear S3 to launch at IFA 2016

Seeing that the Samsung launched its Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic at IFA 2015 in Berlin, it is not surprising to hear that the Gear S3 will make its debut in this small annual event. Samsung Gear S3 to launch at IFA 2016.

Like Samsung released 2 models of the smartwatch last year, we are hoping to see a Gear S3 and Gear S 3 Classic being rolled out at the event. Apart from these model, a luxurious model, Gear S3 by Grisogono could also arrive. This model is made in association with de Grisogono, a Swiss jeweler. The Gear S3 by de Grisogono may announce at the Jewelry Show and World Watch at 2017.

Coming back to the normal variant of Samsung Gear S3, the smartwatch includes sensor features like an altimeter, barometer, an integrated GPS, and speedometer. It is also expected to have better upgrades over its precursor, perking up practically every feature. Although, when it comes to design, it has the same form factor and bezel features.

The smartphone is rumored to run on the company’s own Tizen operating system, akin to the other Gear S2 watches.

The Gear S2 and S2 Classic was available in India at Rs 24,300 and 25,800. It is powered by 1.0GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. It has an integrated heart rate sensor and allows the users to have access to their messages, emails, and other notifications.

Where the company did it best to the operating system as well-designed and practical, it could, but the critics found the software slipshod. They find that the software is falling behind on application support when compared to the Android wears.

We will have to wait and see if the company has upgraded the Tizen OS to deliver better performance with the new Gear S3.
