Reliance Industries on Friday unveiled the Lyf F1 smartphone

Reliance Industries on Friday unveiled the Lyf F1 smartphone, which is priced at Rs. 13,399. The smartphone is available at Reliance Digital Stores. The company is also throwing a free Bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 3,000 with it and announced a 10 percent cashback for Citibank cardholders. The buyers will also get a Reliance gift voucher worth Rs. 15,000.

Reliance is offering several smart features for the new Lyf handset, such as, Smart Ring which helps in locating the phone even when it is on silent, or the Smart Play which will pause the video when the users look away from the screen. It also features carrier aggregation that in addition to faster speed also claim to offer improved battery life.

The smartphone is also flaunting Rich Communication Service (RCS), which offers better messaging services on SMS, other than allowing the user to share files and location when on a call. And similar to other Lyf smartphone it will come with a Reliance Jio SIM card.

The Lyf F1 is a dual smartphone that runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and a pixel density of 400ppi. The handset is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC (four cores clocked at 1.52GHz and four cores clocked at 1.2GHz), paired with 3GB RAM.

For the camera, it has a 16-megapixel primary camera along with PDAF an EIS, and an 8-megapixel front snapper with autofocus. It has an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS.

The device packs a 3200mAh non-removable battery that the claims last all day. Dimensions of the smartphone are measured at 155.5x6x7.9mm, and it weighs 153 grams. Sensor option includes an ambient light, accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and electronic compass.
