LeEco Coolpad Launched Cool1 with 4060mAh Battery and Dual Rear Cameras

LeEco’s CEO Jia Yueting was named as Chairman of Coolpad and just a week after that the company in collaboration introduced their first smartphone in the Cool series. LeEco Coolpad Launched Cool1 and the smartphone is available in China at CNY 1,099. Currently, the smartphones are available for pre-order on LeMall, Jd.com, and the Coolpad website. The device is expected to go on sales from 25TH August.

The LeEco Cool1 will be a dual smartphone with three memory variants. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal memory model comes at CNY 1,099 (approx. Rs.11,100), the 4GB/32GB onboard storage variant comes at CNY1,499 (Rs.15,100 approx.) and the 4GB RAM/64GB variant comes at CNY 1,699 (Rs. 17,100).

However, the main highlight of the phone is its dual rear camera. The smartphone sports two 13 megapixels primary camera along with f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, phase detection auto-focus, dual-toned LED flash and 720p slo-mo.

Coming to the other specifications, the device is dual-SIM (Nano) and runs on EUI5.5.6 WHICH IS Android Marshmallow-based OS. It comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 1920*1080 resolution. The in-cell display provides 450-nit brightness and 72 percent NTSC color range. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU.

Except for the above mentioned primary dual camera, it also features a front camera of 8 megapixels along with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone packs a 4060mAh battery supporting fast charge. The dimensions of the handset are measured at 152*74.8*8.2 mm, and it weighs 167 grams. For connectivity, the phone includes options like 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 8802.1111 ac/a/b/g/n, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It is offered it Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver color variants.

In June, LeEco acquired largest shares of the Chinese company Coolpad, with an overall 28.9 person shares. With this LeEco is planning to assimilate its ecosystem variant with Coolpad’s near-billion intelligent terminals to heighten its sales in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa. The company expects the sales to increase from 50 to 60 million in this year and earn over 100 million smartphone sales by next year.
